BLISTERED FEET

FINDING DIRECTION ON THE CAMINO

PORTUGAL 2026

Having completed the Camino Del Norte in 2024 which I considered a necessary re-set in life along with honoring my brother, I am now planning a much shorter adventure up the Portuguese coast.  I have no intention of completing the whole camino but plan to spend 7-10 days exploring the beautiful coastline with no agenda and welcoming the opportunity for a detour or two!  So again, I invite you to live vicariously through me as I exit the plane in Porto, Portugal and literally start walking while re-launching the next phase of my life!

CAMINO DEL NORTE 2024

Live vicariously through me as I walk 565 miles with my belongings on my back and likely getting lost in northern Spain in my attempt to complete the Camino Del Norte.  Learn what propelled my decision as a 51 year old woman, the mother of two teenage daughters and recently separated from my husband to embark on this adventure.  Join me from beginning to end while I post pictures, videos, stories of miss-haps and achievements along with musings and gripes along the way.  Enjoy the journey and fingers crossed I do not epically fail!
